actually,thats false.The collector(forgot his name) translated the legend and thought it was refering to Lugia as the beast of the sea.

this is it the prophecy.....

The Beast of the Sea refers to missingno.Its simply that idiot collectors sad misunderstanding of the legend that makes it so damn confusing.Missingno also makes sense cause of the fact,ITS FOUND IN [link] NEAR ISLANDS TOO!

Pretty Impressive. You may singlehandedly be one of the few to know this. I can't find any relations to it anywhere else. Though it could be a poorly written prophecy. XD Either way, we get the idea. Maybe your right, wish we had screenshots of the scene you spoke of.

Y'know, I think I agree with you.

I remember wondering 'what the hell is is that thing coming out from the seas?' when i watched this movie. I assumed it some sort of weird currents formed from the energies of the 3 birds. Then I thought they came out because lugia left the sea.

It really didn't make any sense for it to be there actually, since the birds were causing enough trouble by screwing the weather up.

After reading what you wrote, I searched the prophecy:

That last line is what makes me think you're on to something. Why the hell does LUGIA need to be tamed? But if the beast is the weird blue crap (that can possibly be MissingNo.), then that would actually make sense. Also, notice how they mention the water's guardian rising then referring to the beast of the sea as something completely different.
